Skill work is the time where the trainers are going to go over new positions for olympic lifts. It is important to listen to the trainer while he or she is explaining all these positions because this is the proper way to learn olympic lifts. The positional work will put you in the correct patterns of movement so that the lift can be done properly and safely. These 10-15 minutes of skill work is valuable because eventually we will be adding these into WODs and strength portions of the training. This is also a great time to ask questions about the lifts and make sure you guys and gals understand everything.
